I build the ways in. Important work usually has a hard core and no front door, so the people who could help never start. I make the front door: I get the right people in a room, make a scene legible, and turn curiosity into a first real step. I did this for a year in Toronto (a weekly gathering, a ticketed summit, a city event calendar) and brought it to Paris in 2026.

Right now the cause is AI safety: I want it to grow into a broad field the way climate did, not stay a small expert club. So I'm building Nouvelle Machine, a no-prerequisites on-ramp with a weekly dinner (Dîner Machine) and a build club (Banc d'Essai). I'm bilingual French/English, self-employed in France, and I build my own tooling as I go. I also write on Substack at The Last Socialite.
